Developer Relations Intern – Video Content and Technical Writing
We are hiring a Developer Advocate Intern to support our Developer Relations team, focusing on creating, editing, and repurposing technical content.
This isn’t your typical DevRel internship, you won’t be travelling, speaking at conferences, or constantly creating brand-new tutorials. Instead, your main focus will be producing and editing developer-focused video content, such as product walkthroughs and technical tutorials. You'll also be responsible for repurposing existing content from the team into engaging short-form videos, blog posts, and social media clips to maximize reach and impact.
You’ll work closely with both our engineering, growth, and product teams to ensure content is technically accurate and optimized for multiple platforms. If you’re a developer who enjoys working behind the scenes to amplify technical content and turn one great piece into many - this role is for you.
Edit and produce technical video content - including product walkthroughs, tutorials, and demos for YouTube and other platforms.
Transform long-form DevRel videos intMaximize co engaging short-form content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms.
Maximize content reach by adapting and optimizing content for multiple platforms, including YouTube, Medium, Dev.to, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Daily.dev, and more.
Support with demos and sample projects, occasionally build or modify simple technical demos tied to educational content
Collaborate across teams, working closely with Developer Relations, Engineering, Growth, and Product teams to align content with goals and messaging.
You have foundational video editing skills - this is the most important part of the role.
You are a developer first - you love to code, build, and solve technical challenges.
You have strong writing skills with experience in creating technical blog posts, documentation, or tutorials.
You have experience building technical projects and demos.
You have a passion for learning new technologies and sharing knowledge.
You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
You are proactive and self-motivated - you can manage your own time and work independently.
